MANDATE

The Planning and Development Review Committee is responsible for reviewing planning proposals and development applications that are forwarded to the Association, and for preparing recommendations for consideration by the Board of Directors or the Executive Committee.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of the Committee’s activities are to further the goals of the Centretown Plan and other Official Plan policies, and to ensure that transportation infrastructure, housing, and commercial development in Centretown respects the primarily residential character of the community, long-standing building height limits, and furthers walking, cycling, and the use of public transit.

MEMBERSHIP

Any Board or Association member with an interest in planning and development issues is welcome to participate in Committee meetings. However, possible personal conflicts shall be declared.
